I’m normally a complete creature of habit when it comes to skincare. I do like to try new things but once I’ve fallen in love with a product, it’s very hard to budge me.
For the last 18 months or so, I’ve sworn by my Body Shop Bouncy Sleeping Mask when it comes to a night-time skincare fix. But it’s pricey and it’s bulky, taking up most of the already limited space in our bathroom cabinet. So when I received the Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Night Cream, I thought I’d give it a try. Why not eh?
For a fraction of the price of my beloved Body Shop fave, and with it’s lightweight packaging that makes it ideal for travel, this little blue pot of genius has changed the game.
The gel-cream is packed with antioxidants to bring your skin back to life whilst you get that all important beauty sleep and it has left my skin feeling super silky and super pampered each and every night that I’ve used it. I’m a big fan of gel consistencies as I feel they don’t clog up my skin and leave it feeling fresh, not bogged down in product. Garnier have well and truly pulled it out of the bag with this one.
I tend to pop a tiny amount (a little goes a long way) all over my face and neck after cleansing and toning and let it soak in as I sleep. It really is a wonderfully light, uplifting night cream that I think would suit all complexions.
I’ve been giving the day moisturising cream a go to – it’s too early to say whether or not I love it quite as much but so far, so good…and smooth!
