I know there are thousands, if not millions, of blogs out there raving about this product. And now, I’m going to add to that humongous pool of Pixi love with my very own review of the wonder product that is Glow Tonic.
I have, of course, known about Pixi Glow Tonic for a while. Like I said, it’s been raved about across the blogosphere for ages. So I popped it on my Christmas list last December in the hopes that Santa would treat me; and he did! I’ve never been one for fancy expensive skincare – my routine tends to consist of high street, drugstore products that I’m quite happy with thank you very much. But I did feel like my skincare needed a bit of an oomph so I was delighted to unwrap this on Christmas day.
I started using it straight away and within two days. could noticeably see a change in my skin. I’ve always been quite lucky; I’ve never had acne, only get the occasional breakout if I’m under the weather and don’t suffer with redness (I’m touching a lot of wood right now so as not to jinx all of the above). Despite this, I’ve always lacked a certain ‘lustre’ to my skin. I’ve trialed countless brightening creams, radiance balms and even face-tanners but to no avail. So you can imagine my sheer delight after 48 hours to notice that my skin was considerably brighter and altogether more ‘glowy-y’ thanks to the Pixi Glow Tonic.
I started off using it twice a day – once in the morning (always after cleansing with my fave The Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Wash) and in the evening after taking off my make-up with my trusty Garnier Micellar Water. Recently, I’ve stepped it down a touch and am still using it every night but only every other morning; mainly because I don’t want to go through the bottle too quickly!
This stuff has improved my skin so much that, at weekends, I’ve taken to stepping outside the house without a scrap of makeup on. Quite an achievement for me. So to say this is a miracle toner might sound like an understatement but in my case is totally true.
I couldn’t recommend the Pixi Glow Tonic more if I tried and if you’ve not used it already then please do. I promise it will revolutionise your skin and make you love your natural beauty all over again.
What skincare product would you recommend over any other? Let me know in the comments! xo
