#OOTD – Wedding Style

Two days ago, two of my best friends got married. It was the most beautiful and romantic day and it’s safe to say I cried a lot! Seeing as this was such a special occasion, I knew I needed an extra special dress for the day. And, as per usual, ASOS delivered.I knew that I really wanted a pretty dress that was also a bit more sophisticated than what I had hanging up in my wardrobe already. Plus, because September weather can be so unpredictable,  I wanted to make sure I had a a dress that could be worn with a little jacket just in case. Thankfully, the weather was completely glorious so I could make the most of this stunning number.

The dress in question was the ASOS Wedding Notch Bandeau Floral Mini Dress which is available here. It’s described as being navy but I would definitely say the base colour is a deep purple. The straps are removable and the deep ‘v’ neckline adds a bit of sexiness.

I accessorised with a simple gold clutch from Accessorize and my favourite nude heels from Mango. I kept my jewellery relatively simple with this sparkly flowered statement necklace (which I’ve had forever and therefore can’t remember where it’s from!) and went with a natural make-up look.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress – it was super comfortable and the length was perfect. Obviously, the highlight of the day was not my dress but seeing two people I love dearly finally tie the knot. Congratulations again to Mr and Mrs P – the most gorgeous newlyweds ever!
