So…it’s been a while. In fact, “a while” doesn’t even cut it. I’ve not blogged in over a month. It wasn’t necessarily a conscious blogging break; more just that life got super busy and I just didn’t feel like it. I wasn’t inspired and found that every evening, I was just crashing on the sofa with Netflix marathons and Today at Wimbledon on BBC.
I’m a tad nervous about writing this blog; I’m not even entirely sure why. Maybe it’s because I’ve never done a challenge like this before. Maybe it’s because I’m confessing to the world how unfit I am and how I need to lose a bit of weight. Anyway. I’ve recently started a new health and fitness regime that I’m loving and it’s one that some of you might be familiar with: Results With Lucy. I signed up for a 13 week programme to help me get fitter, live a healthier life and hopefully shift a little bit of university weight that’s still lingering.
I have a confession to make: I am not a fan of the gym. I often wish I could be one of those people who look forward to pulling on their lycra and sweating it out for 4 hours on a treadmill. But I’m just not one of those people. No matter how much I try, I’d still rather be at home. This doesn’t make me lazy mind you; I still go to the gym every week and work hard but I need a bit of help at times with getting motivated.
