My thoughts on Bourjois Paris’ Rouge Velvet Matte Liquid Lipsticks
While I love my makeup, I’m not that adventurous when it comes to trying new things. I love shopping for new bits and pieces but I tend to stick with what I know. Especially when it comes to my lips.
It’s been a while since I wrote a favourites post. In fact, the last time I raved about some of my most-loved beauty products was last Spring. And the award for worst blogger goes to…so it’s time for some January beauty favourites.
It’s no secret that Pixi Glow Tonic is one of the world’s greatest skincare inventions (I raved about it a lot earlier this year – read here). I don’t know a beauty or skincare addict that doesn’t love this wonder-product and it’s become somewhat of an icon in the beauty blogging world.
You’ve probably gathered by now that I’m a bit of Body Shop fan girl. I swear by their skincare range (Camomile Cleansing Butter = Life) and am obsessed with their fragrances. The Vitamin E range has always been my go-to so recently I decided to add to my collection with the Hydrating Face Mist.
It’s been a hella long time since I wrote a beauty blog; I kinda went through a phase of feeling a bit bored of writing about products and “stuff” given how saturated the beauty blogging world is. Plus, I really needed to cut back on my Boots splurges.
I don’t really need an excuse to buy any more skincare products. Our bathroom cabinet is basically my own personal Boots/The Body Shop/Space NK; my dressing table is overflowing with bits and bobs to try; my boyfriend is not a happy bunny.
It’s been a very long time since I did a monthly faves post. Oops. Life’s just got in the way.
I’m normally a complete creature of habit when it comes to skincare. I do like to try new things but once I’ve fallen in love with a product, it’s very hard to budge me.
Oh Spring: how I love you! Not only do your warmer temps and lighter evenings quite simply put a smile on my face and a spring in my step but you’re also a fantastic excuse for a make-up makeover; at least, that’s what I’m telling myself.
