November Faves

I know I say this every month but seriously; where has November gone?! In fact, where has this year gone?! 2015 has whizzed by and I can’t believe this is my last faves post before Christmas. I’ve not bought a lot of new stuff this month as I’m holding out for Santa but there’s still a few beauty bits that I’ve been obsessed with. Without further ado, here’s what I’ve been loving this November…

QUICK FIX FACIALS PURIFYING CHARCOAL MASK

PB291101-compressor

I kid you not, this might just be my favourite face mask of the year. And I’ve tried a lot. I randomly picked this up last week in Boots as my skin was feeling tired, lifeless and just a bit ‘meh’ thanks to the cold weather and my knack to somehow pick up every cold going. I’ve used this just once, so putting this in my faves list is brave, but it is hands down quite amazing. My skin immediately felt lighter and clearer after just 10 minutes which I couldn’t believe. It’s recommended to use this mask once a week but I might push it to two uses just so I can truly reap the benefits. An awesome impulse buy.

COLLECTION SPEEDY HIGHLIGHTER

This is the first of two Collection faves this month and this highlighter stick certainly hasn’t disappointed. For ¬£3.99, it’s affordable and has beautiful pigmentation that sits just perfectly on top of foundation for a subtle glow. This highlighter is ideal for throwing in your handbag and topping up on a night out or at the office. Love.

COLLECTION CONTOUR KIT

I have a confession to make; I am RUBBISH at contouring. As a beauty blogger, I understand this is sinful. I’ve just never got the hang of it and am always envious of fellow beauty¬†bloggers who always seem to have perfect highlight and amazing sculpted cheekbones. But then I discovered Collection’s Contour Kit and my life has been changed. This shade is just ideal for my skin tone and is not too harsh meaning you can easily build up your contour without looking like a clown. Plus, there’s a handy guide on the back of the packaging to show you exactly where to highlight and where to contour. Expect to see a lot more of my cheekbones going forward.

SOAP & GLORY SMOULDER KOHL EYELINER

Christmas 2015

All hail the Soap & Glory eyeliner; this is the best pencil liner I’ve ever used (this month, there’s a lot of ‘best I’ve ever used’ products!) I used to religiously wear eyeliner in my waterline but then converted to liquid liner and forgot all about the pencil. I had the urge recently to try it again so headed into Boots to find a liner that would not only create the perfect dark eye look that I was after but also stay put in my waterline. Soap & Glory have yet again failed to disappoint – this liner even comes with a built in sharpener. Genius!

BLOGGER OF THE MONTH – PROJECT BECKS

So, this is something a little new for my monthly faves but I thought I’d start to include my favourite blogger each month seeing as, let’s face it, it’s nice to spread the love. This month, I’ve been totally loving fellow newbie blogger Project Becks. Now, I might be a little biased as Becky is a really good friend of mine. We spend almost every day together at work and I have more in common with her than some friends I’ve known for years. But despite that, Project Becks is genuinely an awesome blog full of beauty, lifestyle and baking pieces, plus, she’s just started up a YouTube channel where you can see ‘behind the scenes’ in her weekly vlogs. Definitely check her out, she’s a doll.

What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below! xo
