Winter Beauty Saviours

PB181019-compressor

Whilst this might be the most wonderful time of the year, it’s not the most wonderful time for my skin. The colder, wetter weather can play havoc with my beauty regime as we ramp up the office heating, battle with gale force winds and lose that summer glow. So here are some of the beauty saviour products that I’ve been loving since the seasons changed…

Soap & Glory – The Scrub Of Your Life

PB181027-compressor

This has to be top of my winter beauty saviour list as I use it every single day when the cold sets in. It’s honestly a tube of amazingness. This famous body buffer has been raved about for a long time and is a staple in many beauty bloggers’ shower regime. I mainly use this on the backs of my arms and my chest to get a lovely, smooth finish and I honestly couldn’t live without it.

St Tropez – Gradual Tan

I’m not a big fake-tanner; I’ve never been confident at self-spray tans or mousses and prefer a gradual tanning moisturiser as I feel I have a bit more control that way. I’ve experimented with a few but this St Tropez beauty is one I always go back to especially at this time of year. It leaves a gorgeous subtle glow and doesn’t leave that telling scent. Adore.

Benefit – High Beam

This was a victim of being shoved to the back of my dressing table for a while and I only recently dug it out again…and instantly regretted all those months that I went without High Beam. This gorgeous highlighter brings instant shimmer to dull winter skin and comes in the cutest little pot. I just dot it over my cheek and brow bones after all my makeup is complete and voila.

Boots Botanics – All Bright Radiance Balm

PB181038-compressor

Yet another brightening product; yes, my skin does suffer from dullness at this time of year. This was a complete impulse buy a couple of months ago and I’ve loved using it. I apply after my moisturiser in the mornings for an extra glow to my skin.

Zoella Beauty – Wonder Hand

PB181032-compressor

I never suffer with dry, cracked hands in the summer but as soon as the nights draw in and the winter wardrobe comes out, so does the hand cream. I’ve been obsessed with Zoella for a while now and actually featured this product in my October favourites post not that long ago but just had to feature it again here. It’s honestly, the best hand cream I’ve ever used. It smells amazing, doesn’t leave your hands claggy and sticky and the packaging is rose gold. What’s not to love?

During winter I’m huge on anything honey – and layering up all the hydration and moisturising! I tend to get heaps of dry patches of paw paw ointment is always a saviour for me! It honestly sucks bc I get dry patches all year around; making makeup application a ‘I can’t bother’ thing; just during winter everything gets worse ): Lovely post, and I see you got a domain which is great! (:

Ooo I’ve never tried the face tan before! Always a bit nervous in case they leave me looking patchy but might have to give it a go :) xx
