Now that we’re fully Autumn-fied and well into the colder months, my skincare routine has had a switch-up in the desperate bid to bring a bit more colour and life back to my face. As much as I love this time of year, I do find it plays havoc on my skin what with the cold air, office heating and the like.
I have always had quite oily skin so in the winter, I struggle at times to find skincare that’s moisturising and nourishing but that doesn’t leave my face shiny and slippery. I’ve tried a lot of different cleansers in the past and do find that the more money you spend, the better the result. Which is why I recently added this Sarah Chapman beauty to my collection and I’ve not regretted it.
The Skinesis Rapid Radiance Cleanse does everything it says on the tin: it cleans, it leaves you feeling radiant and it does so in speedy time. The bottle claims this product will give ‘fatigued faces a radiant glow’ and I have to say, they ain’t wrong. I’ve been using this product a few times a week now for the past month or so and I’m really reaping the benefits.
Because the ingredients include two types of oil (Safflower and Sweet Almond), I don’t use this on a daily basis otherwise it can leave my skin feeling claggy and sticky but tend to pop this on two or three times a week. You only have to have this on for 2 minutes (hence the ‘rapid’ claim) which makes for the perfect product for a busy career girl/blogger like myself so sometimes find it best to pop it on before I clean my teeth, have a brush and then rinse it off. It’s so simple.
Like a lot of Sarah Chapman products, this cleanser has a lovely spa-like scent which I love; it really makes me feel pampered when I’m putting this on and it doesn’t leave your face with that horrible stretchy feeling just before you wash it off.
I’ve been super impressed with this product and reckon it will last me a while as you only need a small amount each time you apply. I’m relatively new to Sarah Chapman’s range but am definitely going to be stocking up on more goodies and putting a few on my Christmas list this year!
